PRINC and Central Group Donate 15,015 Moderna Doses to Support Local and Migrant Communities<\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0June 17, 2022 \u2013 Tak Province, Thailand \u2013 Principal Capital Public Company Limited (PRINC), the operator of private hospitals under the Principal Healthcare Group, in collaboration with Central Group, has donated a total of 15,015 doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine to support public health in remote communities. The donation included 10,005 doses to the Lampang Provincial Public Health Office and 5,010 doses to Mae Sot Hospital in Tak Province. \nThe handover ceremony was presided over by Ms. Atiya Awachanakarn, Chief People and Sustainability Officer of PRINC, with Dr. Prasert Kitsuwanrat, Provincial Public Health Doctor of Lampang, and Dr. Thawatchai Setsuppana, Director of Mae Sot Hospital, receiving the vaccines. Executives from Central Plaza Lampang and Robinson Lifestyle Mae Sot also joined as witnesses during the events held from June 14\u201315.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Now in its second year, the program reflects PRINC\u2019s founding commitment to foster a culture of generosity by improving access to healthcare in underserved areas\u2014not limited to hospital service areas\u2014and enhancing the quality of life for local residents.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The vaccines will benefit locals, migrant workers, and vulnerable populations. Prior to the donation, the provincial public health office conducted training and awareness activities to ensure safe and effective vaccine distribution.\n\nRecognizing the urgency of booster shots, PRINC partnered with Central Group to broaden vaccine access for healthcare workers, community members, and migrant populations.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

This long-standing CSR campaign supports public health through various efforts, such as opening vaccine stations at Central shopping centers nationwide, aiding medical personnel, and backing research into COVID-19 treatments and vaccines.
