Princ Hospital Suvarnabhumi Organizes Awareness Parade for "Care the Whale: The Invisible Waste" Campaign

Princ Hospital Suvarnabhumi, part of Principal Healthcare Company and Principal Capital Public Company Limited (PRINC), organized an awareness parade to promote the “Care the Whale: The Invisible Waste” project—an initiative focused on comprehensive waste management from source to end, aiming to reduce landfill waste and increase the proportion of recyclable materials. As part of the project, the hospital has installed categorized waste bins with clear signage and provided training to staff across various departments to ensure proper waste separation. For example, nurses have been trained to separate staples from general waste, segregate plastic bottles, and sort thermal paper receipts. The hospital also promotes sustainable behaviors among staff, such as bringing personal water bottles to reduce plastic waste, using reusable food containers instead of disposable boxes, and reusing paper.

Princ Hospital Suvarnabhumi was the first hospital in the PRINC network to join the “Care the Whale” campaign in 2021 and remains committed to raising awareness and fostering environmental responsibility among its staff.
