Princ Hospital Paknampo, under the Principal Healthcare Group and Principal Capital Public Company Limited (PRINC), organized an energy-saving idea contest, inviting staff to share creative ideas for conserving energy within the hospital. The contest received a large number of submissions from employees, with several innovative ideas awarded for their potential impact. Examples of award-winning ideas include: "Timer Man" – Assigning responsible staff to manage the timely turning on/off of electrical devices, "The Sign" – Creating visual markers for light switches to raise awareness and promote conscious energy use, and "P-Point to the Rescue" – Implementing a point-based reward system (P-Point) for staff who actively contribute to energy conservation.
Selected ideas from the contest are being reviewed and implemented in real operations to enhance the hospital’s energy-saving efforts.
