Hospitals under Principal Healthcare Group and Principal Capital Public Company Limited (PRINC) have introduced specially designated bins for plastic water bottles, crafted from used plastic bottles collected within the hospitals. These bins were created by the hospitals’ maintenance teams to serve as dedicated collection points for recyclable plastic bottles. Alongside the bins, informative and motivational signage has been installed to encourage staff and visitors to bring their own reusable water bottles in order to reduce single-use plastic waste. Educational posters also help raise awareness on the importance of waste separation and reduction.
This initiative is part of the “Care the Whale” (Invisible Waste) project, which PRINC has been participating in since 2021.
