September 22, 2023 – Pitsanuvej Hospital, under the Principal Healthcare network and Principal Capital Public Company Limited (PRINC), led by Dr. Somkid Udomkijmongkol, Hospital Director, was honored with the Human Rights Award 2023 for Outstanding Large Enterprises by the Ministry of Justice, Department of Rights and Liberties Protection. The award ceremony took place at Miracle Grand Convention Hotel, Bangkok, with Pol. Col. Tawee Sodsong, Minister of Justice, presiding over the event.Notably, Pitsanuvej Hospital was the only hospital in Thailandto receive the award this year, reflecting its comprehensive approach to integrating human rights into healthcare operations. The hospital is also designated to serve as a model institution, sharing its knowledge and best practices across the PRINC network to elevate human rights standards and sustainable management throughout the organization.

No high or unacceptable risks were identified. For those within the acceptable threshold, risk mitigation plans are in place. For instance, regarding employee rights related to occupational health and safety, the company has established a Safety, Occupational Health, and Workplace Environment Committee to ensure continuous planning, supervision, and improvement of safe and healthy working conditions.
