Pitsanuvej Uttaradit Hospital, part of Principal Healthcare Group and Principal Capital Public Company Limited (PRINC), launched a campaign to promote energy and resource conservation by placing informative signs throughout the facility, introducing 9 simple methods to help protect the planet and the organization:
1. Use stairs instead of elevators for going up or down 1–3 floors.
2. Turn off lights and electrical appliances in unused areas; switch off lights for one hour during lunch breaks.
3. Unplug all electrical devices after use.
4. Set air conditioner temperature to 25–27°C.
5. Turn off air conditioning before lunch and 30 minutes before going home.
6. Send documents digitally instead of printing.
7. Use both sides of each sheet of paper.
8. Close water taps completely after use and avoid leaving them running.
9. Separate waste properly by type.
Additionally, the hospital has promoted reduced use of consumables such as A4 paper by requiring pre-approval for supply requisitions. This allows better monitoring of usage volumes and supports strategy adjustments for efficient resource management.
